Today we found out the number of people in Devon's hospital's with Covid is falling - and of those fewer are also being admitted into intensive care - with numbers falling from 20 per cent two weeks ago down to around five per cent now.

There is currently 250 Covid patients in all of Devon’s Hospitals with another 30 in the Nightingale in Exeter.

Greatest Hits Radio understandsthe next stage of the community vaccination will be announced tomorrow.

At the moment jabs are just being given out at Plymouth's Derriford Hospital to the over 80s and some care home workers.

Tomorrow eight more sites in Devon will be announced, which we're told will be a mixture of NHS and community facilities.

It is expected the full vaccination roll out operation will be up and running early in the New Year.
