Police have seized a car from two men who travelled to Brixham from Wolverhampton.

The pair had no excuse to be so far from home and the driver is in custody after being caught drink driving.

He will also face additional charges after giving false details, having no licence, or insurance and obstructing police.

As of Tuesday 5 January, you can no longer leave, or be outside of your home, except where necessary.

If you do leave home for a permitted reason, you should always stay local - unless it is necessary to go further, for example to go to work.

If you are caught breaching any of the restrictions, you can be given a Fixed Penalty Notice of £200 for the first offence, doubling for further offences up to a maximum of £6,400.
