The owner of a now closed Devon attraction has apologised - after it only opened in February.

Dingles Fun Park near to Lifton, off the A30, took over from the closed Dingles Fairground heritage Museum.

Ticket holders for the planned Pop Fest tribute are being promised a refund.

In a statement, bosses at Dingles Fun Park said: "We are very sorry to announce, due to unforeseen circumstances Dingles Fun Park is now closed.

"The Pop Fest tribute festival will also be cancelled due to the park closure.

"All festival tickets will be refunded via ticket sailor.

"We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused."
