Dashcam footage has revealed a driver nearly being 'ran off the road' by a Devon and Cornwall police car.

It was captured on the M74 in Glasgow on Saturday morning (6 November).

The force have since issued a statement saying the officer in question has received management advice.

They add that they are also considering whether they require any further driver training. The full statement said:

"Footage brought to our attention regarding the driving of one of our officers has been reviewed.

"The officer has received management advice and consideration is currently being given regarding any further driver training requirements.

"Whilst the matter has not been reported to the police, the action taken (words of advice) is the same action that would have been taken if the car in question in the footage had been driven by a member of the public."
