Delays on Devon trains after person hit by a train

We're being told to check before we travel, with a number of delays and cancellations

There are delays on the trains this morning after a person was hit by a train.

Emergency services are currently on the scene of the incident at Tiverton station.

It means there are cancellations between Taunton and Exeter St Davids.

Passengers are being advised to check before they travel.

In a statement on Twitter, GWR say, "Due to an incident under investigation between Taunton & Exeter St Davids all lines are blocked.

"Services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption expected until 10:00".
