Body found in search for missing man from Exeter

Police made the discovery in the Clyst Honiton area yesterday

The body of a man was located in the Clyst Honiton area yesterday (Tuesday 10 May).

His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

Formal identification is due to take place.

The family of Thomas Worthington, 35, from Exeter, who was reported missing on Tuesday 26 April, have been made aware.

Thomas was last heard from on Monday 21 March and had been staying in a tent near the River Exe.
