People of all ages gathered in Bigbury-on-Sea at the weekend to send a message to world leaders at Cop 27.

The joined together to help spell out a giant 'SOS' which was written in the sand.

The event was organised by Bigbury Net Zero who staged a similar message during Cop 29 last year.

A choir sang 'What a Wonderful World' during the event, which included messages from campaigners and a procession of life-sized inflatable sea mammals to help fill the words carved in the sand

Earlier this year a major Devon climate change conference took place at the famous Burgh Island in the South Hams.
