Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Paignton
A woman was found with stab wounds and is in a serious condition
A man's been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman was found stabbed in Paignton.
Officers and paramedics were called to an address in Torquay Road just before 1am yesterday (28th May) and found a seriously injured woman in her 40s with stab wounds.
The victim remains in a serious condition in hospital following the assault.
A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is in custody.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
