Areas on Dartmoor have been described as 'busier than a summer's day' despite lockdown.

In a tweet from Diabetic NBM, Burrator Reservoir looked packed with cars on Sunday afternoon (10 January).

People were reportedly turned around and educated on what is expected of them.

According to the latest Government guidance, you must not be outside of your home except where necessary.

You can leave your home to exercise but this should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area.

The news comes as Devon and Cornwall Police were called to more than 250 Covid breaches on Saturday.

Police are urging people to follow the government guidelines - which can be found here.
