A30 closed near Launceston following multi-vehicle collision
Devon & Cornwall Police say the road is likely to remain shut "for some time"
The A30 is likely to remain closed near Launceston "for some time" on Sunday following a serious crash.
Devon & Cornwall Police were called at 7:30am to reports of an artic lorry and a number of vehicles had collided on the eastbound carriageway.
Two people have reportedly been injured, and emergency services are continuing to respond.
Writing on Facebook, Superintendent Si Jenkinson said the force has received "a significant number of road related incidents this morning including collisions and fallen trees."
"Our officers are responding to these reports but I would encourage people to consider whether their journey is necessary.
"If you need to travel, please ensure you do so with care. If your journey is not necessary, please consider not travelling at this time."
