Derbyshire Police hunt man after escape from HMP Sudbury

Officers say members of the public shouldn't approach him

Derbyshire Police are searching for a man who has escaped from HMP Sudbury.

Adam Curtling, 35, was jailed at Birmingham Crown Court in 2008 for arson and affray.

He absconded yesterday (13th October), and may have travelled in a silver Mercedes C220.

Curtling is described as White, 6ft 3ins tall, and has brown eyes, brown hair and is of a thin build and has a scar on his arm.

In a statement, Derbyshire Police added: 'If you have seen him or know of his whereabouts, please do not approach him, instead, contact us immediately quoting reference number 783 of 13 October:
