Roads in Bolsover reopen following reports of device
It was found on land which is being developed off Welbeck Road
Officers said the item was found on land being developed off Welbeck Road this lunchtime (Wednesday 8th February).
Road closures were put in place on Marlpit Lane as a precautionary measure.
The device found was believed to be an old land mine. People were asked to avoid the area.
Some residents were also asked to leave their homes for a time until clearance was given.
