Retirement home wanted for one of the oldest cats in RSPCA care

A home is wanted for a Burton cat which is thought to be one of the oldest in RSPCA care.

Timmy’s currently being cared for at the Hillfield Animal Home at Stretton after his owner wasn’t able to look after him anymore.

Georgia Coxon from the local branch said:

“He's a very special boy who as you can imagine at the age of 20, might not have long left but certainly has enough love to give in the meantime and deserves comfort in the time he has left,”

Although he’s taking hyperthyroid medication he’s said to be doing really well for his age at 20 years old, the equivalent of 100 in human years.
