Police officer headbutted during incident in Ilkeston
A man's been charged with assaulting an emergency worker
A man has been charged in connection with an incident in Ilkeston, where a police officer was assaulted.
Police were called to Lime Street just before 12.45am on Wednesday 8 February.
During the incident, an officers was headbutted as a man was arrested.
Liam Davies, of Walnut Close in Ilkeston, has now been charged with assault of an emergency worker.
The 34-year-old has been released on bail and is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on Wednesday 22 February.
