Police cordon in place after the body of a man was found in a flat
A man in his late teens was arrested on suspicion of murder
Derbyshire Police tell us they were called to a flat at William Street in Derby just before 2.30pm on Monday (May 1st).
It follows reports of concern for the welfare of a man. Sadly, when they attended the scene the body of a man is his 40s was found inside the property.
Officers later arrested a man in his late teens at a home on Mundy Street, Derby on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody for questioning.
A cordon has remained in place on William Street and Mundy Street while enquiries continue.
