Derbyshire Police are appealing for information after a convict absconded from HMP Sudbury.

Officers say Zakaria Mohammed was found to be missing from the prison on Friday 11 November.

The 26-year-old is currently serving a 14-year prison term for drugs offences.

Mohammed, who is 5ft 8ins tall, and of slim build, has links to the Birmingham area.

Police are asking members of the public not to approach Mohammed and instead contact Derbyshire police with reference quoting reference 1056 of 11 November.
