Police appeal after man seriously assaulted in Derby city centre

The victim, a man in his 40's, remains unconscious in hospital with serious injuries

Derbyshire Police are appealing for the public’s help after a man was left with serious injuries after an assault in Derby.

Officers found the man in Green Lane, Derby, at around 12.20am on Thursday 14 July with serious injuries to his face and head.

The victim, a man in his 40s, remains unconscious in hospital with serious injuries.

He has curly hair, was wearing a Back To The Future t-shirt with jeans and brown shoes,

Officers say they are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who recognises the description of the victim.
