Police and fire crews deal with major incident at Creswell
Some residents have been asked to leave their homes
Derbyshire Police are supporting fire and rescue colleagues at a large wild fire.
Over 50 houses have been evacuated and a number of local roads closed in the Model Village area.
People are being asked to avoid the area.
A rest centre for locals has been set up at the Events Centre on Elmton Road.
On social media earlier, safer neighbourhood crews advised residents:
"Leave all windows and doors closed and move away from the area!!! Please can all residents in the area keep windows and doors closed. Please co-operate with any instructions from officers."
