Motorcyclist dies after collision near Chesterfield
It happened at 9:30am.
A man riding a motorcycle has died following a collision near Chesterfield.
Derbyshire Police were called around 9:30am to reports of the collision.
In a statement from Police they said: "We were called to a report of a collision on the A632 Matlock Road, between Kelstedge and Chesterfield just before 9.30am on Sunday 6 August.
"The collision involved a black Ford Galaxy B-Max and an Orange KTM Other Motorcycle.
"The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene."
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or has CCTV or dashcam footage, to contact them, quoting reference number 23*485708.
