Man seriously injured in attack in Holmewood
A 57-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
An investigation is underway after a man suffered serious injuries in an attack in Holmewood.
Derbyshire Police were called by ambulance crews following reports of a serious assault on Dickens Drive just before 10.40pm on Wednesday (4 April).
The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
A 57-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is currently in police custody.
Officers said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident and at this time, there is not thought to be any wider risk to the public.
