Man jailed for breaking into Derby bridal shop and stealing e-scooter
A man has been jailed for breaking into a bridal shop in Derby and stealing an e-scooter earlier this year.
Nicholas Milward, 37, of Uttoxeter New Road, was arrested after reports of a burglary at a Tiffany Jordan shop on Queen Street at around 8:40pm on Sunday October 10.
He was found to have stolen six tiaras and a fan, with a value in the hundreds of pounds.
He was around on bail for stealing an e-scooter on Gerard Street North on July 19.
During that incident he was stopped by passers by on Newland Street and found to be carrying a black sock containing two drill bits.
He was sentenced to 58 weeks in prison at Derby Crown Court on Tuesday (November 2).
