Man charged following Matlock assault
It follows an alleged incident at the weekend
At around 1.22am yesterday morning, Sunday 30 October, an altercation is reported to have taken place at the Tipsy Toad pub on Bakewell Road between two men.
A man suffered an injury to his neck and required hospital treatment.
A 31-year-old man arrested in connection with the alleged assault, Ashley Flint, of Holland Crescent in Selston, Nottingham has been charged with wounding with intent.
He's been scheduled to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court today.
