Man charged with burgling Derby city centre businesses

It's after reported break-ins over the last two months.

Officers investigating a series of alleged burglaries in Derby city centre, have charged a man.

Several businesses in the city have reported break-ins, during November and December.

Alan Webster (37) of no fixed abode, has been charged with four counts of burglary; one at a hairdresser, one at a book shop and two at restaurants.

He appeared before Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Monday 27 December.
