Man's body found in Whaley Bridge

Derbyshire Police were called to reports of a body in the water during Sunday (3rd April).

Officers say a man believed to be in his 50s had sadly died. They go on to say there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and that a file is being prepared for the coroner.

As investigations take place they would like to hear from anyone in the area from around 11pm on Saturday (2nd April) and 7.20am on Sunday (3rd April).
