Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Derby

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an assault in Derby.
The incident occurred at just before 4pm on 17 April when the victim, a man in his 30s, was walking near to the shops on Kedleston Street.
He suffered an injury to his head after being assaulted by another man and went to hospital for treatment. Derbyshire Police say his injuries are not serious or life-threatening.
A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the offence. He has been bailed as investigations continue.
