The 2022 European Championship winners trained at the National Football Centre, which is at St George's Park in Burton, prior to the Euro campiagn.
Victoria Wilson, Staffordshire County Councillor for Communities and Culture said:
"In Staffordshire we are proud of St George's Parl, where we were honoured to have the Lionesses train before the start of the Euro 2022 matches.
"What these girls have achieved cannot be understated - they are an inspiration not just to girls and women everywhere, but to everyone who wants to play football.
"I'm sure many more young people - especially girls - will be wanting to take up the sport after seeing the success of their heroes at Wembley and with so many opportunities to take up football in the area, there is no better time to do it."
