Killamarsh house where 3 children and a mum were murdered is demolished

The house in Killamarsh where 3 children and a pregnant mum were murdered has been demolished.

11 year old Lacey Bennett, her 13 year old brother John, their mum Terri Harris and Lacey's 11 year old best friend Connie Gent died in 2021 on Chandos Crescent.

Damien Bendall is serving a life sentence in prison for the murders.

A statement earlier this year from Derbyshire Council said:

"Following the tragic events 20 months ago, preparations are now underway to demolish 54 and 56 Chandos Crescent in Killamarsh.

"The relatives, residents and the local community have been consulted of the steps that the Council now needs to take prior to the demolition."
