Glossop man charged with drink driving following collision

A man has been charged with drink driving following a collision in Glossop on Saturday evening.
Just after 8.45pm on Saturday 28 January offciers say they received a report of a car which had allegedly crashed into a wall on Woodhead Road, at the junction with Cemetery Road.
Police attended and the driver was taken to hospital as a precaution but did not report any serious injuries.
Martin Dyson, of West Drive at Tintwistle, was arrested and later charged with driving over the prescribed limit of alcohol.
The 42-year-old has been bailed and is due to appear at Stockport Magistrates Court in April.
