Flowers and urn taken from grave of Dame Vivian Westwood

Police are investigating after flowers and an urn were taken from the grave of the late Dame Vivian Westwood.

The Derbyshire fashion designer, widely regarded as one of the most influential of all time, passed away at the end of last year, at the age of 81.

Police were called to a report of the theft from the grave in Chapel Brow in Tintwistle just after 6.20pm on Sunday 28 May.

They're urging anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between midnight on Sunday 21 May and midday on Sunday 28 May to contact them.
