Derby man charged with attacking shop worker
Gareth Cartwright is due before magistrates today (Saturday).
A man has been charged with assaulting a shop worker and stealing from two stores in Derby.
Gareth Cartwright, of Arnhem Terrace, is accused of targeting the Asda store in Spondon on 8 December.
Another incident happened at One Stop on Stenson Road on Monday (16 January).
The 39-year-old has been charged with two counts of theft, as well as threatening and assaulting a shop worker.
He is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court today (21 January).
