With the new academic year just around the corner, families in Chesterfield can now pick up second-hand school uniforms for free in the town.

The Lifehouse Church in Brampton recently set up a 'pop-up' shop, opposite where they're based on Chatsworth road.

They're stocking clothes from several schools, and Pastor Sarah Hollingworth tells us they're still accepting donations:

"If you have uniform at home that you're looking to donate, please make sure that it is of a good quality.

"We don't want anything with holes or marks and things, because we want everybody to get good quality items.

"Feel free to just drop them in whenever the shop is open.

"We've got things like plimsols, PE Kits, polo shirts, dresses and blazers from a range of different junior and secondary schools.

"We've got all sorts of things; everything you need really to go back to school.

"So far, it's been busier than ever in the shop compared to previous years when we've run it. Everybody is welcome as well; you don't have to be on benefits or anything like that."

The shop will be open every day-apart from Sunday-from 10am until 4pm, and is due to close on Friday the 3rd September.
