Buxton drug dealers jailed
The pair will spend a combined 15 years behind bars.
Two young men who supplied cocaine and cannabis in Buxton and violently assaulted another man have been jailed.
Joshua White and Jackson Parker admitted dealing large amounts of the drugs to their customers in Buxton and were given a combined prison sentence of 15 years.
Derby Crown Court heard that Parker, of Marlow Street, Buxton, was the main organiser behind the illegal operation.
The pair employed runners to distribute both Class A and Class B drugs across the town, sending out mass messages to their so-called customers, offering significant amounts of credit and sometimes accepting bank transfers as payment.
He was arrested alongside Joshua White, of Baslow Grove, Buxton, on Wednesday 10 March 2023 by officers investigating a report of threats and malicious communications where a bullet had been posted through the door of a victim.
Arrest warrants were carried out at properties on Marlow Street and Buxton Grove where officers found large amounts of cocaine, cannabis, cash and items involved in the supply of drugs.
Parker (25) pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis and assault occasioning grievous bodily harm. He was jailed for nine-and-a-half years.
White (22) pleaded guilty to the same charges and was sent to prison for five-and-a-half years.
They were sentenced during a hearing at Derby Crown Court on Thursday 21 September.
A hearing under the Proceeds of Crime Act will take place at a later day which will determine how much money and assets they made from their crime, and how much they will have to pay back.
