Police appeal following attempted robbery in Normanton

Officers were called just after 11.30am on Tuesday 4 July to a report of man approaching a woman and trying to take her bag in Charnwood Street.

Derbyshire Constabulary is appealing for a man seen near the scene of an attempted robbery in Normanton to contact them.

Officers were called just after 11.30am on Tuesday 4 July to a report of man approaching a woman and trying to take her bag in Charnwood Street.

They would like to talk to the man seen in the CCTV images as they say he may have some important information which can help them as part of their enquiries into the incident.
