A member of staff at a Carlisle pub has been injured after a man threw glasses from behind the bar.

Officers say a man reportedly became aggressive in the Woodrow Wilson pub on 16th December at around 1.45pm.

A staff member was left with a concussion and a cut to their hand.

The suspect also smashed a mirror on his way out.

An investigation is ongoing and Cumbria police are appealing for any information on the incident.

Any witnesses are being urged to phone 101 quoting log number 95 of 16 December 2025.
