A two-year-old boy has died following an incident in Carlisle

Emergency services were called out this afternoon (17th July) to an incident in Carlisle.

Police were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service at 4:19pm with a report of a child being unwell at an address on Edderside Drive.

The child, a two-year-old boy, was taken to hospital and has sadly died.

Officers are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the death.
