Two men appear in court charged with possession of £24k of cocaine

The drugs were seized from a car in Workington

Two men have appeared in court after cocaine with a street value of £24,000 was seized from a car in Workington.

Umar Ali, 29, and 30-year-old Mohammed Kazam jointly face one charge of possession of a class A controlled drug, with intent to supply it to another.

It's alleged to have happened on 28th July this year.

Both men appeared in front of a judge at Carlisle Crown Court earlier today. During a short hearing they both pleaded not guilty.

Ali, of Lawkholme Lane, and Kazam, of Ashleigh Street, both in Keighley, were remanded in custody
