Two men charged after thefts over the weekend

Two men have been charged with a string of theft offences following reports in Pooley Bridge during the weekend.

56 year old Steven Skinner, of no fixed address was charged with five counts of theft from a shop, theft of a bicycle, an offence of theft by finding and using threatening language in a public place.

59 year old Christopher Marshall, of High View North, North Tyneside was charged with four counts of theft from a shop, theft of a bicycle and an offence of theft by finding.

Both men appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates Court yesterday.
