Two charged with attempted burglary in Maryport

Two people have been charged with an attempted burglary at Glasson Rangers Rugby Club in Maryport.

The incident was reported to have occurred at 3am yesterday.

Wayne Fielding, 46, of Alne Road, Maryport and Stacey Turner, 28, of Eaglesfield Street, Maryport were charged with attempted burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal.

Both were remanded to appear at North and West Magistrates court today.
