Two charged with aggravated burglary in Workington

Two people, arrested after an incident in Windsor Road, Workington on Saturday night into Sunday morning (4-5 Oct) have been charged with offences and are due in court today (6 Oct).

Connor Cordin, 28, of no fixed address, has been charged with aggravated burglary with intent and affray.

Lauren Weaver, 28, of Windsor Road, Workington, has been charged with aggravated burglary with intent.

Both are due at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court today.

Police were called at around 11pm on Saturday, to an address on Windsor Road with reports entry had been forced by two people in possession of a knife.

No injuries were caused but threats were made.
