Tributes paid to man killed in crash near Mossdale Services

The family of a man who died following a collision near Mossdale Services have paid tribute to him.

Joseph Hough, known as Joe, aged 38, from Morecambe, died after his Honda motorbike collided with a Ford Focus on the A6 on 3 January.

In statements, his family said: “My Brother and friend. It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved little brother “Bear” Joe.

“More than a brother, you were my best friend, confidant, and a constant light.

“Life feels quieter and empty now, but your memory will live on in the stories and moments we shared. Rest in peace, lil bro.”

Another tribute said: “Uncle Bear (Joe) was a man of deep faith, integrity, and warmth. He was a constant source of joy in the good ones.

“His legacy of kindness will never be forgotten”.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information which may help officers are asked to contact Cumbria Police.
