Police appeal after two injured following collision

A serious collision led to two people needing hospital treatment in Cumbria.

Emergency services were called to the B6384 Burton Road in Holme on Monday at around midday, between the junctions of North Road and Brookfield Close.

The collision involved one vehicle, a double decker bus that collided with a stone wall and tree.

Police are asking for "anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information which may assist the investigation is urged to contact the police."
