Nearly £3,000 worth of fines handed out for fly-tipping

Three people have been fined a total of 2-thousand, 7-hundred pounds for fly-tipping in Cumberland.

The council's taken to court a man from Workington who discarded a sofa in the street and a Maryport takeaway owner who dumped rotting food outdoors.

A Workington woman was also fined for flytipping.
