Man who died on A66 in Cumbria before Christmas, is named

A man who died following a collision on the A66 near Kirkby Thore has been formally identified.

Paul Stenner, 60, of the Lincolnshire area, died after a collision involving two lorries on December 22.

Police were called to the collision at 5.19am.

Specialist police officers are supporting the family of Mr Stenner.

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses for information.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling on the A66 between Scotch Corner and Penrith between 4am and 5.30am that day who may have dashcam footage of their journey.
