Man seriously hurt after crash outside Sellafield
Three people have been arrested in connection
A man’s been seriously hurt after reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Police say the pedestrian was taken to West Cumberland Hospital and remains in a serious condition.
It happened outside the Calder Gate entrance to Sellafield.
Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Police say there’s no threat to the wider public and officers are working with the organisers of industrial action at the site.
