Man named following a fatal collision on the M6 in Cumbria
The 88-year-old from Penrith died in hospital after the crash last week
An 88-year-old man who died following a fatal collision on the M6 in Cumbria has been named as John Trotter.
The collision involved a car and a HGV, just south of Southwaite Services on Thursday 7th December at 10:50pm.
Mr Trotter, who was from Penrith, was taken to hospital with serious injuries but passed away last Friday (8 December) in hospital.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it – as well as anyone with information which may assist.
