Man given criminal behaviour order in Cumbria

The order is to prevent anti-social behaviour

A man has been handed a criminal behaviour order to prevent his anti-social behaviour in Cumbia

The Allerdale Neighbourhood Policing Team secured the Criminal Behaviour Order against 38-year-old Christopher McKenzie, of no fixed address for two years.

The order means he must comply with the following:

Not to be drunk and incapable in Workington, Keswick or Cockermouth town

The order follows McKenzie being sentenced to 16 weeks in custody for Stalking without fear / alarm / distress and two counts of common assault.

The punishment for breaking the terms of a CBO can be up to five years in prison.

Cumbria Police said:

"Anyone who witnesses Christopher McKenzie breaching the terms of his CBO should contact the police."
