Man dies in single vehicle crash near Carlisle
Police have now launched an investigation
A man has died in a single vehicle crash near Carlisle.
Emergency services attended the scene on Capon Tree Road, Brampton, yesterday evening at around 5.36pm.
Police say a local 34 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for a number of hours whilst collision investigation work took place.
Officers have now launched an investigation and an appeal for witnesses, or those with dashcam footage, to come forward
