Man dies following New Years Eve collision in Crosby

Cumbria Police ARE appealing for witnesses following a fatal on the A596 at Crosby.

It happened last night (31 Dec), involving a red Chevrolet car and a pedestrian, in the vicinity of the Stag Inn at around 10.04pm

The pedestrian – a man in his 60s who lived locally – was declared deceased at the scene.

Officers are encouraging anyone who witnessed the incident or who can assist the investigation in any way to come forward.
