Man charged with threatening a person with a blade in Carlisle
The 27 year old will appear in court this morning
A man has been charged following a report of a man in Carlisle making threats to other people while in possession of a knife.
Police were called to Linden Terrace on Thursday afternoon.
Hassan Khamis, who's 27, has been charged with threatening a person with a blade in a public place.
He has been remanded to appear at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Police will continue with patrols in the area, they are also aware of video footage being circulated on social media and would ask that it not be shared further so as not impact criminal proceedings.
