Man arrested after Denton Holme incident

A 32 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap, false imprisonment and attempted rape by officers investigating an incident in the Denton Holme area on Monday evening (Aug 8).

The man, who is from the Blackburn area, is currently in police custody.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the incident – which occurred in a field near to the bay in Denton Holme - to come forward, if they are yet to do so.
